The Hoot during the Night

The hoot during the nightThe Hoot during the Night is a for-telling that something bad is about to happen. This is the bird that Lennox mentions in Act 2 of the play. When he and Macduff are journeying to Macbeth’s castle they hear the owl which was a prophesy of something terrible. This is a foreshadowing of what was happening at Macbeth’s castle. This is when Macbeth kills King Duncan in order to become King of Scotland. In this illustration I drew the owl, the dark night, and misty black to create a dark and evil mood.
